These past two I've working a lot more harder than ever before. I haven't able to do more drawings for awhile. I've been helping out with my father Matt and my uncle Steve Jackson on a very big project in the village. They have bought a building that was once a restaurant when me and my family first moved in Arnside, but it got closed down so my father and uncle have bought as part of the brewing company. Because I'm not doing want hours than I should at my other job in the village, I'm helping them out on striping everything out of there turn it into something better than ever. The building was called Gado Gado, but will soon be called Jacko Jacko. Websites: Working so hard on two jobs can be exhausting, but the goal is to try and get it up and running by June. It may not be opening on the first week of June, but you can only hope.

Yesterday at my shift at the hotel, I've asked Damian to give me an honest answer if he was happy with the drawing of his kid or is there any change and he said, "No Will, you've put in a lot of effort in them and the love the work you've done".
I was glad to hear, but I have told him if the next time he wants me to do a another drawing of him or his family, I'll have to do in a creative or comic-like, because after an honest conversation with my mother the other day we've that no matter how much effort I've made to get the drawings and other drawings before as realistic as I can they always end a little comic or cartoonish like. This will be the last time I've create a drawing from live or picture. The first week of March has already gone and over the month, more work has coming up very quickly for me. I have able to finish more drawings, but this month I'll be getting back to helping my family with more of refurbishing done in our house. At the same time, I'll be cutting and chopping huge pile of wood and place them in these creative wood-huts to prepare for the next freezing winter and for everybody's safety including my nephew, I've drawn out a couple of signs so that no one has an accident. I will be doing more artwork, but I'll more busy helping my family getting the rest of the refurbishing done which our main priority and the biggest project to finish.
I've keeping myself busy these few months and not just in my artwork, I been working hard at my job at the hotel in Arnside and helping out with any work on the rest of refurbishing of my house with my family. Soon some new drawings will be appearing on and hopefully this year I be creating something challenging to do than just some drawing or painting.
I haven't yet finished helping my parents on refurbishing our house, my father wasn't feeling he had to go a serious heart operation last year and had to put the refurbishing on hold, but now father is in full recovery.
But during that time I've been getting a few people from my village, in Arnside Cumbria for some of my artwork and in some of my spare time I've been doing some of my own artwork for a bit of fun and for my family. I'm still keeping hold on what I said after came back home from university as soon the house is fully refurbished and getting to what I want to do for an art career. Working hard at my third and final year at the University of Cumbria, it hasn't been my best time then because with everyone else I had to through COVID-19 through the whole year, social distancing and social media was really, really difficult to do and more difficult to do any artwork projects properly. But against all odds I have finally got a pass from university. And most of all... I got my university certificate. I've been working hard this reassessment project to help improve the my marks for getting a pass, after I was done before the deadline I've been waiting anxiously for my results, looking at my emails (both student and my own accounts ) since August . Until at last on the first week of September I finally got a reply of my results. My family was very proud of my achievement, but not as proud as I am.
You may not understand this, but before I started college I spend a lot of time with father both during and off work (whenever I was free from school). I took it a very long time to realise this, but he has taught and asked me on being my own man. And from college to University (learning Catering and illustration) I think I know what I want do and how I want to do it as my own man. I want to do my part in working in one of my father's pub/hotels he owns and among them create and sell my own artwork for everyone to see. I've already achieved well enough to catering and hospitality, and now... I am now an illustrator I'll Be finishing university very soon, After that I'll be keeping busy, helping my family at home, keeping busy at my Dad's brewery earning some good wedges. This will be like taking a break from my artwork. My home in Arnside is being refurbished. COVID-19 is making the work get done very slowly, so until that is all done and my parents, brother, nephew and me are fully settled I staying out of my artwork after finish my last year at the University of Cumbria.
