Year 3: (February 1st, 2021): Project Proposals

Over the Christmas holidays, Dwayne has asked me and everyone else to create our own project proposals for the next term like, how many do you want to do? How long are they're going to be? What are they about? and How are going to do your artwork?, etc... This was little tricky to do, because it had do to be done for university and not for any of my family. I've been going through all work I did on my first, second and third year at university (including some artwork I did at college). These are the project proposals I've decided to do for this term.
Project 1: Let's go for a Stroll!

Intro: Project Briefing
This project is about working in sketchbooks or on loose paper, to produce a collection of location drawings which form a ‘report from the field’. I'll be go around Carlisle, starting from my bedroom, outside the house or in the city centre. Every week and month on this semester, I'll doing a collection of drawings of how empty and quiet Carlisle is due to coronavirus. It can also be in other places around Cumbria/Lancashire.
For the final outcome, the number of drawings and developments, will be use to create an illustrated article of a local magazine (Carlisle Living), explaining from a student (myself) of how empty and quiet Carlisle is, due to lockdown of coronavirus.
Why I chose to create this project, is because of how quiet and empty the streets, shops and buildings are from where I am. Ever since of the first lockdown with the rising number of cases of coronavirus, we have all been forced into lockdown to prevent anymore cases and everyone is having a very tough time getting through, waiting for the lockdowns to go down.
Creating an illustrated article, on a local magazine, in Carlisle should be read and seen for everyone (locals in the city).

Specifications
The article design will be created in a 2 to 3 page set for a magazine of Carlisle Living. With a few drawings and developments of places I've been around Carlisle. There will be a map of Carlisle marking where I've been every week and month through this semester.
The drawings and colours will be done mainly by a mixture of pen and pencil. A few will be developed from a some artists that I've researched through my second and third year.

Project 2: Once Upon a Time...

Project Briefing
This is about creating a short story set of books for little children to read. 
The stories will be introductions stories of superheroes and supervillains from marvel comics.
I've been thinking about this project because I like reading comics since I was ten/twelve years old. And in the future I hope to create and sell comics of my own. And also chose to create this project because of my nephew, I think he and other children would like this to read kind of story, before learning the actual story.
Everyone knows how all the superheroes and supervillains have started out, but when it comes to 2 and 5 year olds, the stories have to be simple and easy for them read. That means no violence, swearing and nightmares!
Each book will be created in A5 sizes with ten pages. Five pages with have an introduction of the superhero on one-side of the book and the other side will have the same with the supervillain.
The colouring will be done in a mixture drawing pen and in watercolour paint.
