This drawing was a little bit unexpected to work on for someone. I was away on the last weekend of May to go for a friend's stag do in London Euston. After me, my father, my friend and his friend were all settled in the hostel we were staying we got started on the stag do, I was sitting by the bar briefing working on a different drawing before joining the others to socialise. A couple of ladies were already talking to our group before I joined them, and already noticed to the artwork that I was doing. One of the ladies named Aliesha, is interested in trains and has immediately asked me to do a drawing of the Elizabeth Line Train. How she wanted the drawing is different than any drawing I've ever done, Aliesha wanted to draw the inside of the train (with the seats, the colour patterns that's on them and the window view behind them), I have done one or two similar things during college and university but it has been a long time. Before leaving my friend's stag do and getting started on the drawing, I asked Aliesha's email so I can stay contact with her until I got the drawing finished and for further notice. (Photos of Progress): Sketching the seats was easy enough to do, colouring the patterns was tricky because lines on them were very small and thin and the colours in each column were random. The last bit was having a view behind the window of the train, I asked Aliesha of what good views does she have living around. Photos where Aliesha lives: The choices of these views were very tempting, but then I remember when we meet I offer to add in the view from where I live (either Arnside or Silverdale). Photos from where I live: Aliesha likes views from home better and pick the one with the trees and more of the bay view, once I know what view to use I got to the view drawn. It didn't take long in getting long in getting the view all drawn. And finally I got the drawing done. The Final drawing of the Elizabeth Line Train: And then I got the drawing mailed to Aliesha's address. Looking forward to hear what her nephew thinks of the drawing.
