(Click on the Images): While I have just been doing this drawing, I have made a start on working tapestry designs for next year's "Kendal Calling". Last time I tried working on some designs it didn't work exactly well, because I was too focus at college and university, but with some help of a couple of people who are in charge of the event, I will be able to get the designs right.

It is now the middle of September and a lot of kids have now gone back to school for a new term. Just before that happened I was finally able to help some builder finish rebuild the last of the stone at Ash meadow in Arnside. Stone wall (last seen): Stone Wall (Finished): This is was a good thing to do during the summer and change to keep me busy as well as my regular job in Arnside. I'm thinking of create a few drawings based upon the work and effort me and the builders have made.
I've been offered some more work like this next time I'm able to help, until then I'll be keeping busy at my job at the hotel and work on a as much drawings and designs as I can before Christmas. The new bar JJ Cornfield's in the village (Arnside), is finally build and opened serving customers. There are still one or two things that needed to be build, but they'll sorted and done very soon everyone and coming to visiting the village is having a good time as well as the locals. JJ Crossfield's Bar I'll be helping out now and then whenever I'm free from my main job in the village. While that was done, I was finally able to work getting the wood huts at the back of my house starting with the big pile next to them, it didn't take long to get it all chopped up and into the huts and get them fill up for the coming winter. Wood huts (Before): Wood huts (After): I'm so glad to have finally to get the work done this summer, because with and finally some space in the corner me and my family are ready for the coming winter and soon after that season I'll be ready to get some more logs, branches and twigs for restock. I almost forget to mention that I'm also working on another job, which I was given to keep myself a little busy for the summer. I next job is helping a stone-build name Ben re-build a stonewall in the village (Ashford Meadow) the was badly knocked over from heavy rain, strong winds and fallen trees. Stone wall (Before): Stone wall so far (After): We are over half finished on re-building the wall, for the time being Ben has had go work at other places, so wall has put on hold until Ben is able to come over and finish to rest of the stone wall.
The good thing is from all three things, I should be able to work some more drawings and designs of my own for the rest of the summer. These past two I've working a lot more harder than ever before. I haven't able to do more drawings for awhile. I've been helping out with my father Matt and my uncle Steve Jackson on a very big project in the village. They have bought a building that was once a restaurant when me and my family first moved in Arnside, but it got closed down so my father and uncle have bought as part of the brewing company. Because I'm not doing want hours than I should at my other job in the village, I'm helping them out on striping everything out of there turn it into something better than ever. The building was called Gado Gado, but will soon be called Jacko Jacko. Websites: Working so hard on two jobs can be exhausting, but the goal is to try and get it up and running by June. It may not be opening on the first week of June, but you can only hope.
Yesterday at my shift at the hotel, I've asked Damian to give me an honest answer if he was happy with the drawing of his kid or is there any change and he said, "No Will, you've put in a lot of effort in them and the love the work you've done".
I was glad to hear, but I have told him if the next time he wants me to do a another drawing of him or his family, I'll have to do in a creative or comic-like, because after an honest conversation with my mother the other day we've that no matter how much effort I've made to get the drawings and other drawings before as realistic as I can they always end a little comic or cartoonish like. This will be the last time I've create a drawing from live or picture. The first week of March has already gone and over the month, more work has coming up very quickly for me. I have able to finish more drawings, but this month I'll be getting back to helping my family with more of refurbishing done in our house. At the same time, I'll be cutting and chopping huge pile of wood and place them in these creative wood-huts to prepare for the next freezing winter and for everybody's safety including my nephew, I've drawn out a couple of signs so that no one has an accident. I will be doing more artwork, but I'll more busy helping my family getting the rest of the refurbishing done which is our main priority and the biggest project to finish.
I've keeping myself busy these few months and not just in my artwork, I been working hard at my job at the hotel in Arnside and helping out with any work on the rest of refurbishing of my house with my family. Soon some new drawings will be appearing on and hopefully this year I be creating something challenging to do than just some drawing or painting.
